(NASDAQ:REMC) today announced that it will be showcasing an AISG (Antenna Interface Standard Group) compliant tower mounted amplifier (TMA) at ITU Telecom World 2003, hall 2 booth 2247. The AISG interface enables control of compatible remote electrical tilt (RET) antenna systems from the TMA without the need for additional cables. RET antenna systems enable static and dynamic management of antenna tilt from the base of the tower or remotely from the operations center. This RET feature is integrated into a range of REMEC's ultra compact TMAs. These TMAs have established themselves as industry leading products with a range of high reliability features including IP68 rating, torsional stress relieved connectors, solid-state bypass circuitry and robust lightning performance.
