SAN DIEGO, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- REMEC, Inc. (Nasdaq: REMC) today announced that it has received a purchase order worth several million dollars from a major North American GSM/TDMA network operator. REMEC will supply its MCPA4080, a 100 watt multi-carrier power amplifier for the PCS frequency band. Under the terms of the order, REMEC will also provide installation services. Deliveries and installation commence immediately and the order will be completed by the end of the third fiscal quarter.
