REMEC to Showcase Components at MTTS 2003

SAN DIEGO, June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- REMEC, Inc. (Nasdaq: REMC), today announced that the company will be exhibiting its products at this year's MTTS Show at booth 2143.

REMEC's specialized components on display at IEEE MTTS 2003 include:

    Component Amplifiers

  • QBH-2832. Replacement for modular amplifiers in the 1 to 200 MHz frequency ranges, many of which are no longer available from a major semiconductor manufacturer. Engineers can continue to build their designs using this replacement.
  • QBH-2020. LNA designed for use in the 1920 to 1980 MHz uplink UMTS frequency band. Typical performance parameters include 1.0 dB Noise Figure, Gain of 17 dB, P1dB of +20 dBm, and +34 dBm 3rd Order Output Intercept Point. Available as a surface mount amplifier enclosed with a metal cover for ease of use.
  • Component Mixers

  • MM94SMD-14. Multi-Octave Double Balanced Mixer. It is a low-cost surface mount device designed for the RF band from 5.0 to 18.0 GHz. The local oscillator band is 6.0 to 18.0 GHz, and the IF band is DC to 2500 MHz. This wide band, low cost mixer will reduce cost without sacrificing performance.
  • MM134PG-1. Ultra-Broadband Double Balanced Mixer in a hermetically sealed package with removable SMA connectors with an RF/ LO band of 1.5 to 26.5 GHz and an IF band from DC to 1250 MHz. Ultra-broadband mixers are ideal for military and defense applications where performance is critical.
  • Component VCO (Voltage Control Oscillators)

  • HV87SM-42. Microwave Band VCO designed for the 2.0 to 4.0 GHz frequency band in a surface-mount hermetically sealed package. Typical performance parameters include +10 dBm power output at 25 degrees C, tuning voltage range of 0 to +20 VDC, -12 dBc harmonics and an operating temperature of -55 to +85 degrees C. REMEC VCOs are available in a variety of packages including TO-8, flatpack, and surface mount as well as with SMA connectors. With a combination of good phase noise, good power out and wide band tuning, the HV87SM-42 is ideal for synthesizers and receiver applications.
  • HVA107SM-12. Microwave Band VCO designed for the 4.0 to 8.0 GHz frequency band. Typical performance parameters include +7 dBm Power Output at 25 degrees C, Tuning Voltage range of 0 to +21 VDC, -10 dBc Harmonics and an operating temperature of 0 to +65 degrees C. REMEC VCOs are available in a variety of packages including TO-8, flatpack, and surface mount as well as with SMA connectors. Simplify your designs by using an octave tuning, high performance VCO.

In addition, REMEC' s Defense & Space Group will showcase the following capabilities:

    Filters & Multiplexers

  • RF to Microwave Band filters and multiplexers designed for the 500 MHz to 40 GHz frequency band in either a surface-mount or hermetically sealed packages with SMA connectors. High power handling and low insertion loss is available. Applications include phase linear filters for both radar and communications applications were reduced ringing and low bit error may be critical for system level performance.
  • Subsystems or Integrated Microwave assemblies

  • REMEC can offer a wide range of vertical integration capabilities for all of our RF, Microwave and Millimeter wave components covering the 50 MHz to 44 GHz spectrum. REMEC's filter and device expertise allows for optimum impedance matching to offer overall superior electrical performance in ground base, avionics, shipboard and Space applications.
